To list all files in current directory including dot files (hidden files or directories), as well as print permissions :
ls -laAdd linux user - reset root password

Adding a user**
While logged in as root, type **adduser username
**at the shell prompt, replace username with the username you wish
**

Deleting a user**
While logged in as root, type **userdel username
** at the shell prompt, replace username with the user name you wish to delete.

Change login password**
To set the password for a specific user, type**passwd username
** at the prompt, replace username with the name of the user. By typing simply **
passwd
** you’ll be changing the currently logged in user’s password.

Usage: cd /[directory]
Example: **cd /tmp
**
Example: **cd ../
** (moves back one directory)
